RasikMail is an attempt from Rasik.com to introduce an easy to use internet based mail tool for Indian languages. We got a very positive responce for our letter writing pad. So, we decided to create a mailtool which is easy to use and does not require any knowledge about the fonts. This mail tool is just like any other internet based mailtool and it allows you to choose the language while writing the mail. This mailtool is absolutely free and you do not need to create any account to be able to send emails in your native language.

Currently, you can send emails in Marathi, Hindi and English or a combination of any of these languages.

To write an email using RasikMail, go to RasikMail compose window. Specify your email address in the From box. Write email addresses of recepients in the to box. If you want to copy the mail to any one, type their email addresses in cc box. Now, based on which language you want to type, click on appropriate, Type buttons (there is once button each for Hindi, Marathi and English). Start typing your mail in the textarea. Once you have finished your mail, click on the Preview Email button and make sure that there are no problems in the mail. Edit your mail if needed. When you are done with your email, click on Send Email button.

If you need to change the language in the middle of the mail, click on appropriate button and a tag of type <<>> will get entered in your mail. Start typing after this tag.

It is very easy to write email with different languages using RasikMail. Whenever you need to change the language, click on the appropriate Type button before start typing . Basically the tags of type <<>> tell us which parts of the email are to be converted into which language. You can even manually enter these tags if you forget to press the button before writing the text. Currently we are using <<M>> for Marathi, <<H>> for Hindi and <<E>> for English. Just try our mail tool and look at the preview window to find out how it works.

Phonetic Transliteration is a method of using English alphabet for writing in non-English languages.The choice of alphabets have been made such that it is a very easy to remember and write phonetics. Click here to learn more about phonetics.

You would not be able to see anything proper in the Preview window if you have not installed fonts from our site. Please go ahead and install fonts.

You do not need to type Devanagari script directly. You will be typing the phonetics instead. Phonetics is a way of typing non-English language by using normal English keyboard. To know more about Phonetics, click here.

To read a RasikMail, you need a mailtool which supports html language. Most of the mailtools support html specially outlook Express, Netscape Mail, Yahoo Mail etc. Try to use any of these mailtools to read your mail. If you still have difficulty, please contact us.

You do not need to create any account with us to send email using RasikMail. You can start using it right away.

Any mailtool which can read html mail can be used to read RasikMail. Most of the mailtools (outlook express, netscape mail, yahoo mail etc.) support html. If you want to get more information, please contact us.

We enter some tags in the textarea based on the language. These tags look like <<>> and they are part of the text you are typing. You do preview of your mail, you would not see those tags. Please do not remove these tags from the mail. Just continue writing after the tag.

It is not necessary to press the button. You can enter the required tag in the textarea (where you are typing mail) so that it converts the text properly. Type <<M>> before the text which needs to be converted to Marathi. Similarly enter <<H>> for Hindi and <<E>> for English. As soon as you enter a new tag the old tag does not have any effect. Look at the preview mail to see that conversion is happening correctly.
