आपल्या जन्मापूर्वी हे जग होतंच. आपण मेल्यानंतरही जगाचा कारभार हा असाच चालू राहणार आहे. ह्या अवाढव्य रंगमंचावर आपली 'एंट्री' मध्येच केव्हातरी होते आणि 'एक्झिट'ही. हे नाटक किती वर्षांचं, ते माहित नाही. चाळीशी, पन्नाशी, साठी, सत्तरी .... सगळं अज्ञात. घडधाकट भूमिका मिळणार, की जन्मांधळेपणा, अपंगत्व; बुद्धीचं वरदान लाभणार की मतिमंद?
भूमिकाही माहित नाही.
तरी माणसाचा गर्व, दंभ, लालसा ... किती सांगावं?
कृष्णानं बासरीसहित आपल्याला पाठवलं;
पण ह्या सहा छिद्रांतून संगीत बाहेर येत नाही.
षड्रिपूंचेच अवतार प्रकट होतात.
स्वत:ला काही कमी नाही. स्वास्थ्याला धक्का लागलेला नाही.
तरी माणसं संसार समजू शकत नाहीत.

This is one of those books which you only read once in a lifetime..and still get imp[resed by its thoughts. v.P. Kale has always been one of my favourites , but with this book , he transcends from being an author to a spiritual gifted person. Rare indeed are poeple to find, who can assimilate thoughts and inculcate them in their thoughts as V.P K does.
Albeit this book focusses on the GITA as a premise, teh principles can be applied to any human being, irrespective of his place, profession and likings. I strongly urge for every enthusiastic reaader to read this at least once.. Books like this should actually be made a part of the syllabi for junior collge. Catch them young is often overused , but a lot of them would surely be enraptured by the crystal nature of the ideas in this book. I WAS..& still am
